Head Therapist

Adam Glowacz MCSP, MSc

As a Physiotherapy business owner I pride myself on creating a culture of clinical excellence and an environment in which physiotherapists can excel and provide a high quality service to patients.

I joined the Physiotherapy profession in order to impact positively on people’s lives and ‘make people better’. To this day I believe just as strongly and passionately in this purpose and ethos. My broad and varied experience over the last 12 years as a physiotherapist and personal trainer has given me a unique set of skills to serve patients to the best of my ability.

As a clinician I am involved in everyday explaining complex care and rehabilitation issues to patients, their careers and relatives. I frequently need to delve deep into my skill set to treat a variety of presentations.

I am highly qualified Chartered Physiotherapist registered to practise with Health Professions Council. I recognise the importance of keeping up-to-date with the most current scientific research and practices. Throughout my career I have undertaken many post graduate courses in order to enhance my physio skills. Alongside to my master’s degree in physiotherapy I am further trained in Bobath Foundation Course, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Fascial Manipulation, Kinesio Taping, Sport Massage, and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF). I am also fully qualified REP’s approved Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. I have a history of working with children and adults with complex neurological, musculoskeletal conditions, athletes, and people post fracture and post-surgery. My professional goal is to provide patients with a fast and effective return to physical activity or sport without re-injury.

I am passionate about physiotherapy and our role as therapists in delivering clinically and cost effective interventions for those patients whose life has been adversely changed by injury, illness or disease.

I am committed to lifelong learning and development. I consistently thrive to evolve my practice by merging the most current, evidence based literature with a holistic approach. I take pride in connecting with my patients as they embark on their healing journeys.

Personally I am a very proud husband and father of baby daughter who enjoys spending time with his family and also maintain a keen interest in many sports, particularly athletics and road cycling. I am an ex 400 meters hurdles national champion and keen sportsman who enjoys keeping fit and getting into the hills at any given opportunity

Hazel S.

Adam goes over and above to think of new things to do with my son to keep him challenged but also happy. Adam was the physio who first got him to crawl and that was one of the highlights of the last 8 years! Adam is trustworthy, kind, a hard worker and an expert in his field.

Miles R.

I have known Adam for over six years during which time he has provided outstanding support via regular physio to my disabled daughter ensuring she is able to stay supple and maintaining maximum mobility. Adam is also an ex athlete himself and has also treated me on a number of occasions when I still think I can run like I was 19! He is confident, knowledgeable and gets first class results. I would recommend Adam without hesitation to anyone.

Calum C.

Adam has consistently shown to be not only a motivated and hard worker, but also someone with an ability to adjust his physiotherapy techniques to suit the client’s changing needs. He is constantly updating his qualifications as well as well as learning new techniques such as ‘taping’. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending his specialist ability
